The summer run of donorflex Regional User Group roadshows has reached its half-way mark after visits to Esher's Princess Alice Hospice, Haydock Park and Garden Organic.

With dates to come at St Michael's Hospice, in Harrogate, Bristol's Thornbury Golf Centre, and the University of Edinburgh, we're looking forward to the level of convivial conversation, information and insight continuing right through to the end of June.

The Make date with 8 theme of this year's RUGs has prompted the response we'd anticipated. The centrepiece of each day has been donorflex 8, which will be released in September.

If the oohs and ahhs of the past 10 days – and a couple of spontaneous bursts of applause – are echoed in the next couple of weeks, we'll be delighted.

That's because, aside from the simultaneous launch of the Lottery module, the advances made in donorflex 8 have all been about allowing users to make their way round the system more quickly, to better effect, and with greater efficiency and flexibility.

The RUG manual given to each delegate will be available to all clients after the final roadshow in Edinburgh on June 30.

Likewise, the mini suite of Gift Aid Tracker reports that are forming an important of the day and – so far – proving a very popular item with attendees.
