donorflex 8 has been released and the first wave of disks is on its way to clients who took up the opportunity to tell us their preferred upgrade date.
The next delivery – to organisations that have yet to indicate a preference – will be dispatched during early November.
We're certain that you'll find the upgrade a straightforward exercise. The donorflex 8 box contains an insert with all the initial information and advice you need, then the 8 disk itself provides the remaining step-by-step instructions to complete the task successfully.
Users are encouraged to be aware that, for the first time, the installation routine includes a stage at which you need to register serial / registration codes. These are printed on a sticker in the box. As you'd expect, our advice is to be methodical and follow the instructions to the letter!
Finally, SQL users who have a test environment will need to upgrade that separately. Before they begin that task, they're advised to call Helpdesk for guidance.
