The February run of FREE donorflex Lottery seminars is showing a mixed response from prospective delegates.
Each of the dates will cater for a maximum of 15 delegates, so that the Lottery module can be studied in a tight and informal group. By the same token, each needs a minimum number of attendees to be viable.
While the events for North East and South East-based clients are both close to full, those for the Midlands / South West and the North West contingents are lagging behind.
We know the reason for the latter. In those areas, a number of individual organisations have expressed a preference for the CDS team to make a dedicated visit to speak with key members of their fundraising and lottery teams.
We're still a couple of weeks away from our deadline for deciding on those dates – which is why we're encouraging all those organisations who've indicated their intention to attend to book via the Client menu's Events and bookings link. That's where you'll find the booking form. Just ask your donorflex Liaison Manager to log in and do the necessary.
As a reminder, the Lottery seminar dates are as follows:
- Mids / SW: Tuesday, February 16, 2010, St Richard's Hospice, Wildwood Drive, Worcester, Worcs WR5 2QT
- North West: Thursday, February 18, 2010, Haydock Park, Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside WA12 0HQ
- South East: Tuesday, February 23, 2010, Princess Alice Hospice, West End Lane, Esher, Surrey KT10 8NA
- North East: Thursday, March 4, 2010, St Michael's Hospice, Crimple House, Hornbeam Park Avenue, Harrogate HG2 8QL
Please note that we'll only be taking bookings made online, not by telephone. The online booking system allows you to update your bookings, and it allows us to keep a much closer eye on progress.
