donorflex users need to be aware that a new version of the Imports / Exports facility has been released.
It will be available from mid-day today (Friday, February 26) from the general downloads area of www.donorflex.com
This new version helps you to spot existing Company or Group records by comparing the first word of the incoming company name and the post code, so that potential duplication is prevented.
This is similar in action to the 'same surname and post code = duplicate' check that's been part of donorflex imports for the past few versions.
We believe this is a significant additonal safeguard and would advise you to download the new version before you do more imports where new records could be created.
To access it, please ask your donorflex Liaison Manager to log in to the Client menu, then head for the Your files and profiles / General downloads link.
Please remember that donorflex 8 brings you the opportunity to use our new automatic updates facility.This means that you should save the new file to your Master File location. When a user starts up the Imports / Exports facility, they'll be offered the opportunity to get the newest version.

- Click the F1 key while in donorflex
- Click the Search tab in the left-hand pane
- Type in master file
