DUC 2016: One year to plan, two days to deliver, three minutes to retell

October 10, 2016 - by Mark Higgitt

donorflex User Conference 2016

donorflex Conference 2016 was a record-breaker – more delegates and organisations than ever, more insights, more information and, where BIG new donorflex is concerned, more inspiration and anticipation.

It was the familiar mix of the serious, the essential, the fun, and the thought-provoking.
Our final DUC 2016 video captures all the vital elements of an event that was made a success by one group above all – you, our clients!

If you were there, click the video to relive and share the highlights. If you weren’t, please enjoy a brief flavour of the two-day gathering, and catch some headlines to ponder.

And the lucky winner is….

The donorflex team added a fresh twist on our normal prize draw at DUC 2016.

Instead of choosing a winner from the box of recycled lanyards, we turned to donorflex Anywhere, the new way you’ll be able to fundraise on the move when new donorflex is released.

Every delegate was equipped with a unique username and password to explore Anywhere  – from anywhere – for the weekend. We watched the names and numbers rise and chose the winner at random from those who’d logged in and created a record.

And the winner is Lisa Thomas, of Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice – just one of many delegates who made the long journey from across the UK to join us. Thanks to everyone who used their login credentials to explore donorflex Anywhere, including Lisa.

What’s next? Regional user roadshows 2017, that’s what!

After a brief pause to gather breath, we’re already looking ahead to the season of regional user group roadshows that will bring the momentum of preparations for big, new donorflex to a new high.

Within the next few weeks, we anticipate being in a position to name specific dates. Until then, we’re working on a period from the very start of March.

At the time of writing, they’ll be organised in these regions: East, South East, South West, North East, North West, Midlands, South West and Wales and Scotland.

Please keep your eyes peeled for more news.
