ICO adds more power to high-value Masterclass panel as session nears sell-out

donorflex User Conference 2016

The anticipation building towards the donorflex User Conference has grown with news that the Information Commissioner’s Office’s Senior Policy Officer, Richard Marbrow, will add a compelling voice to the line-up of experts delivering insights to the Preferences & Compliance Masterclass that launches the big event.

We’re confident that the news will quickly cause the final places to be booked up – with fewer than 20 seats available at the time of writing for the session, which starts at 1pm on Wednesday, September 21, at the University of Warwick’s Rootes Building, in Coventry.

The star line-up already includes Gerald Oppenheim (Head of Policy, Fundraising Regulator), John Mitchison (Head of Preference Services, Compliance and Legal) and Karen McKenzie (Director of Income Generation, Douglas Macmillan Hospice).

It’s the first time that Gerald, John and Richard have appeared on the same platform.

So, for donorflex clients, it represents a unique opportunity for senior executives, trustees and managers who bear the legal responsibility for compliance to ensure that their organisations meet their statutory obligations.

Richard delivered one of the stand-out presentations at the Institute of Fundraising’s Convention, back in July, a tell-it-as-it-is session on consent, compliance and the new EU Data Protection rules that left delegates impressed and uncomfortable in equal measure.

So be prepared for an enlightening contribution.

"The reaction from our own attendees, Jo Davies and Steve Mason, and those clients who were also in the audience, quickly persuaded us that Richard would be a great addition to the Masterclass, and we’re delighted that he’ll be with us," says donorflex managing director Brian Todd.
