donorflex helps to celebrate great Yorkshire fundraisers

July 30, 2020 - by Mark Higgitt

Back to news

It wasn’t the glitzy gala event that everyone had been looking forward to, in the sparkling surroundings of York’s Principal Hotel, but the IoF Yorkshire Awards managed to pluck triumph from adversity to celebrate the very best fundraisers and fundraising.

donorflex’s Managing Director, Brian Todd, joined Charity Well founder Claire Warner, TPL Experiences’ Minoti Parick, and IoF Cymru chair Rachal Minchinton on the judging panel for the online awards that would have been the icing on the cake of IoF Yorkshire’s donorflex-sponsored annual conference, back in May.

The nominations were packed with examples of ingenuity and endeavour, which made it an almost impossible task to separate the Highly Commended from this list of worthy winners:

  • Partnership of the Year: Candlelighters / The Pure Technology Group
  • Fundraising Leader of the Year: Beckie Wynne, Martin House Children’s Hospice
  • Campaign of the Year: Sash with Open Doors
  • Best Newcomer of the Year: Tom Moody, Lindsay Lodge Hospice
  • Fundraising Event of the Year: St George’s Crypt and St Gemma’s Hospice
  • Fundraising Team of the Year: Candlelighters
  • Fundraiser of the Year: Katharine Ronayne, National Railway Museum

Huge congratulations from the donorflex team to those outstanding fundraising professionals.

Our focus now turns to preparations for the Hospice Lottery Association’s online conference, in September, with donorflex in the main sponsor role for the eleventh straight year.

We can’t wait!
