Two-way data flow
An API (Application Programming Interface) is a software intermediary that allows two applications to talk to each other.
The donorflex REST API’s built around the successful donorflex import engines and offers the following functionality:

- GET information about existing database records/supporters
- POST (create) new database records
- PATCH (update) existing database records

- POST (create) new donation records
Communications
- POST (create) new communication records
Organised events
- POST (create) new event sign-ups with optional payment
Regular giving
- POST (create) new regular giving agreements
Regular giving DD/SO
- POST (create) payments against existing regular giving agreements

- GET information about existing lottery players and their plays.
- POST (create) new lottery plays with optional initial payment
Lottery payments
- POST (create) payments against existing lottery plays

- POST (create) new biographical information against your supporter records

- POST (create) new raffle ticket returns / payments with optional additional donation
Raffle virtual books
- POST (create) raffle books and tickets outside of the physical books you print and send out.
