Busy conference week, but bring it on!

Flying the donorflex flag north of the border... again!

The donorflex team is about to hit the road again, as October dawns, for two final, very important days on the Patrick House conference calendar.

Tuesday and Wednesday, October 2-3, see us joining more than 200 delegates once more at the Institute of Fundraising Scottish Fundraising conference, which is being held at Glasgow’s delightful Double Tree by Hilton City Hotel.

Then it’s just a couple of weeks before the IoF West Midlands conference, at Birmingham’s midlands arts centre – a familiar spot that has hosted the past three donorflex Midlands Regional User Group roadshows – on Thursday, October 18.

Client Development Consultant Jo Davies and Media Services Manager Mark Higgitt will fly the flag in in Scotland, as they did at Newcastle’s Crowne Plaza Stephenson Quarter Hotel, for the Institute of Fundraising North-East regional conference on Tuesday-Wednesday, September 11-12.

All three conferences deepen the relationship between donorflex and the IoF regions, following our lead sponsorship of the IoF Yorkshire Conference, in early May.

Warwickshire’s Walton Hall Hotel was the venue for the Hospice Lotteries Association’s annual conference on Wednesday-Thursday, September 12-13.

Managing Director Brian Todd and Client Development Consultant Patrick O’Donnell headed up the donorflex team for what was be our ninth gathering as lead sponsor.

“Our relationship with the IoF on a national and regional basis is very important to us," says Brian. "It means we’re as close as we can be to the conversations that matter.

“And taking the lead sponsorship role at HLA for the ninth year speaks for itself. We like to contribute to the hospice lottery sector as much as we can, but we’re also mindful of the huge amount we gain from the HLA team and the event. The lessons we learn find their way back in to the product and the service we supply.”
