Client alert: HMRC submissions update

The donorflex support team has an important reminder for all clients that submit online Gift Aid submissions to HMRC using the donorflex system’s Gift Aid module.

On Thursday, February 15, 2018, HMRC will change the web address to which Gift Aid submissions must be made.

Until and including Wednesday, February 14, 2018, the address is:


From Thursday, February 15, 2018, the address will be:



To make this change....

Follow these instructions:

  • Go to Configure donorflex / Modules / Gift Aid Submissions
  • Overwrite the existing address in the first field with the new one and then click ’save’

If you don’t make the change, the next time you make a submission after February 14, it will fail with an error similar to this:

  • “Authentication Failure. The supplied user credentials failed validation for the requested service”


Submissions on or before Wednesday, February 14

If you’re scheduled to make your next submission on or before February 14, you can use either of the URLs detailed above.

That means it’s a change you can make immediately.
