IOF voters give donorflex accolade

Well, we've only gone and done it again!

donorflex has been voted Britain’s best charity CRM database supplier... again!

The prestigious prize was presented at the Institute of Fundraising’s Partners in Fundraising awards at London’s Grange St Paul’s Hotel.

It’s the second time in three years that the donorflex team has been crowned at the annual ceremony, which honours partners and suppliers in the fundraising sector.

The judges focussed on a key lottery project that enabled Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance to extend their life-saving service through to the hours of darkness.

And they singled donorflex out ahead of Blackbaud and Harlequin for the quality and impact of that project, as well as for the stability and continuity that the team here at Patrick House has delivered to clients for approaching 30 years.

They were particularly impressed by the fact that 10 per cent of the client base has been on board for more than 20 years, while a third has been using donorflex for more than 15, and half have been with us for more than a decade.

"I think the work we’ve done with Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance, and the fact that charities stick with us for the long haul, spoke volumes to the judges," said managing director Brian Todd, who collected the award with Mark Higgitt and Patrick O’Donnell, the client development consultant at the heart of the work with KSSAA.

"It epitomised what we do, day in, day out, which is why we chose it as the focus of this year’s entry to the awards.

"We’re delighted to repeat our success at the inaugural awards in 2013. It makes us even more determined to increase the quality of what we deliver to our clients, because we’d love to make it three awards in 2016."

The awards were hosted by Alex Brooker, co-presenter of Channel 4’s Last Leg, who’s no stranger to collecting awards himself. The show won an RTS awards for Best Entertainment Show.

"Fundraisers need the expertise, insight, and innovation that a range of agencies and suppliers can bring," IoF Chair Richard Taylor told the gathering.

"Whether designing a new campaign, sorting out a creaky database, improving your digital presence or getting the right person for that crucial job that you’re advertising, getting the right external support can be vital.

"So, as we work through the year ahead together let’s be bold, let’s challenge ourselves, and let’s not be shy of doing more of what we do best – enabling people to support the causes they care about."
