Four key areas of donorflex in the space of one session? You can't squeeze much more value than that into one afternoon.

This course will give you insight and experience of each aspect, illustrating how productively they can play a part in your operation.

More and more organisations are using collecting boxes as a way to increase reach and visibility within their communities, so the first element of the course demonstrates how easy – and how fruitful – a collecting box programme can be run.

Legacy income is also becoming a major focus for charities as they develop long-term relationships with supporters and their families.

Finally, Information Requests and Events & Pledges. These two often run hand in hand. The former lets you record and monitor requests from supporters for information and provides a valuable recall facility to support follow-up activity.

Events & Pledges allows you to track events organised on behalf of your organisation by your supporters – for example, sports days, jumble sales or coffee mornings – as well as pledges made by donors to make donations, for instance a promise to pay a sum of money arising from a coffee morning.

The module's also the ideal vessel for recording Foreign Currency Donations because, until the money can be exchanged, you only have the knowledge that you'll be receiving a sum of money.

So, there you are. Four key parts of donorflex in one afternoon. The next course:

  • Thursday, April 5, 2012 (10am-1pm)
  • Thursday, May 17, 2012 (2pm-5pm)
